The next ZACC Rock Camp performance will take place at the Top Hat on June 15th, featuring all new bands with a fresh catalog of original songs. August 25 ZACC Missoula, MT w/ Snailmate. They have a bright future ahead of them, so don’t be surprised if you see them back at the Top Hat for another performance. I primarily make industrial style punk rock, noise rock, dance pop hits. She and her bandmates Jack Catmull (bass) Ally Fradkin (sax/keys) and Llwyn Clark-Gaynor (drums) are more than capable musicians. Lead vocalist and guitarist Erin Szalda-Petree is actually one of the ZACC Camp instructors, and understandably so. The last band to perform was Carpool, a talented teen rock band out of Missoula’s Hellgate Highschool. Case, Jengo, and Felix performed a funky instrumental encouraging the audience to dance and also played a hard edged, bitter tinged “love” song. The third band, Syren, was an all boy trio with plenty of attitude. The young lady was a skillful singer, songwriter, and guitar player. Next up was a solo performance from Phoenix Marshall, who’s been in ZACC Rock Camps for several years. They played a punk infused song titled “Dream Crusher,” followed by “Lego,” which was about… well, Legos of course! The band also had their own merchandise: a CD and sticker combo available for $5. (drums), who also happened to be celebrating his birthday. The band consisted of Ella (bass/vocals), Allyssa (guitar/vocals) and P.J. This past Friday, on May 11th, four different bands took the stage at the Top Hat.įirst up was Masquerade, who’s members were appropriately dawning sparkling masks, which they eventually took off to reveal their true identities. Eventually, the band gets their chance to shine with a bookending performance at the Top Hat on Family Friendly Friday. Once campers find the right one, they begin to receive instrument instruction, and form a band with other campers who together write an original song. And then the Skurfs showed up for a thing I’m told is called a douglas jam, and totally jammed Tonight: Rad show at the VFW Check the show calendar. Bunch of bands played, including Mitts and Koda Sequoia from Seattle, our own Copilot Eyedrops and Huntley’s Idaho Green. ZACC instructors such as Lukas Phelan help campers decide which one best fits them. Last night at the ZACC Below was mellow, but still a lovely evening. Either way, the goal is the same.Ĭampers, usually between the ages of 7 and 13, are given a variety of instruments to try. Camps during the summer are 1 week long running 8 hours while camps during the school year run about 1 hour per day for 6 weeks. As part of their mission to deliver arts education to all ages, they host a multitude of camps, one being the Rock Camp. Zootown Arts Community Center, or ZACC for short, is a non profit arts organization here in Missoula. Throughout the year at the Top Hat, groups of young rockers get the chance to showcase their skills they’ve learned while attending one of the ZACC Rock Camps.

The Polestar 2, which is a mixture between a crossover and a hatchback, is no exception. Volvo’s electric car division, Polestar, has quietly made strides in the EV world. Here are some Tesla Model 3 alternatives to consider. With gas prices rising, electric cars are becoming more popular among all automakers. What Are the Alternatives to the Tesla Model 3? Cold weather and hilly terrain can significantly impact the Model 3’s range, regardless of whether you choose the Standard Range or Long Range model. When shopping for any EV, always remember real-world range will vary with your driving conditions. Add to this the extra performance the Long Range model offers, and it may very well be worth the $6,000 premium. Then, simply recharge on Sunday before the workweek, and you’re ready for another week of gasoline-free driving. Unless you’re planning a road trip out of town for the weekend, you’ll likely have plenty of charge to last through Sunday. This gives you an extra 49.2 miles per day when you’re just counting weekdays and 35.1 miles per day when counting the weekends. With the Long Range version ‘s extra 86 miles of range, you now have 246 leftover miles after the average American commute. For most drivers, this means you’ll have to charge your Model 3 at least once and maybe twice a week to ensure you have enough juice to get where you need to go. That’s just 22.4 spare miles per day without the weekend, and 16 miles per day with the weekends. This leaves 112 miles of driving range for various odds and ends throughout the week, such as dance recitals, baseball games, grocery trips, and other errands, without having to charge. With 272 miles of range on the Standard Range model, the average commuter, who drives about 32 miles per day, five days a week, will suck up 160 miles of that range just driving to work and back. The Long Range model is technically less efficient than the Standard Range model, but the Long Range model offers added convenience with more miles between charges. On top of its longer range, the Model 3 Long Range AWD comes standard with the automaker ‘s dual-motor all-wheel-drive ( AWD ) system. While it shares the same 126 MPG e highway as the Standard Range model, the reduced efficiency drops its other EPA ratings to 134 MPG e city and 131 MPG e combined.ĭespite not being quite as efficient as the Standard Range model, the Tesla Model 3 Long Range model costs the same $500 per year to charge. The Model 3 Long Range has 358 miles of range on a fully charged battery pack, but its battery and charging system aren’t as efficient as the Standard Range model. Significantly slower than the Long Range model.Travels 86 miles shorter distance than the Long Range on a single charge.Costs $6,000 less than the Long Range model.More efficient than the Long Range model. This model comes with only rear-wheel drive ( RWD ) and delivers a 0-to-60 time of 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 140 mph. This adds up to a total yearly charging cost of just $500. When you factor in its cost to charge, the EPA rates it as 138 miles-per-gallon equivalent ( MPG e) city, 126 MPGe highway, and 132 MPG e combined. The Tesla Model 3 Standard Range offers buyers up to 272 miles of all-electric driving, according to EPA testing. The first two films received mixed reviews, while the third's reception was more positive. The trilogy also depicts the corruption of the Galactic Republic, the annihilation of the Jedi Order, and the rise of the Empire under the secret Sith Lord and future Galactic Emperor Darth Sidious. The films follow the training of the powerful youth Anakin Skywalker (the father of the original trilogy protagonists Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa) as a Jedi under the tutelage of Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda, his fall to the dark side of the Force and rebirth as Darth Vader. The trilogy consists of Episode I – The Phantom Menace (1999), Episode II – Attack of the Clones (2002), and Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005). The trilogy marked Lucas's return to directing after a 22-year hiatus following the original Star Wars film in 1977, as well as a 16-year hiatus between the classic and prequel trilogies. When computer-generated imagery (CGI) had advanced to the level he wanted for the visual effects he wanted for subsequent films, Lucas revived plans for the prequels by the early 1990s. Lucas had planned a prequel trilogy (as well as a sequel trilogy) before the release of the original film, but halted major Star Wars films beyond the original trilogy by 1981. The trilogy was released from 1999 to 2005 and is set before the original Star Wars trilogy (1977–83), chronologically making it the first act of the Skywalker saga. All through the restoration, she’s told the story of the home and its owners in a series of web TV episodes, a blog and through social media. It’s the kind of porch that our homeowners across the US love! The porch can now be used all year round, temperature controlled, or left completely open on warm Alabama spring and fall days. In fact the back porch has proved to be one of the most head-turning features of the home with its combination motorized retractable insect screens and motorized clear vinyl screens. Not only does the beautiful home combine history with elegance it has also been expanded with a large screened-in back porch and outdoor kitchen that integrates Phantom’s motorized retractable screens. AT&T operates the U.S.’s largest Wi-Fi network, including more than 32,000 AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots. In addition, AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk can now be used over Wi-Fi, giving U.S.-based customers improved in-building coverage and access to the service via compatible Wi-Fi networks. carrier is offering push-to-talk capabilities on iPhone. Over-the-top (OTT) applications are not dependent on a specific carrier and nearly as fast as carrier implementations.AT&T Enhanced Push-to-Talk (EPTT) is now available to AT&T business customers through a new app available for iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. Wireless carrier-grade PTT systems have adapted to and adopted the smartphone platform by providing downloadable apps that support their PTT systems across many mobile platforms. Recent development in PTT communications is the appearance of apps on smartphones, some of which can function on multiple platforms. In addition to mobile handsets, some services also work on a laptop, desktop, and tablet computers. Mobile push-to-talk services, offered by some mobile carriers directly as well as by independent companies, adds PTT functionality to smartphones and specialized mobile handsets (hand portable and mobile/base station PTT Radio Terminals). Manufacturers of ( POC or PoC) hardware include ToooAir and Hytera US Inc. This combines the operational advantages of PTT with the interference resistance and other virtues of mobile phones. Push-to-talk cellular calls similarly provide half-duplex communications - while one person transmits, the other(s) receive. A significant advantage of PTT is the ability for a single person to reach an active talk group with a single button press users don't need to make several telephone calls to coordinate with a group. A typical push-to-talk connection connects almost instantly. Push-to-talk over cellular ( PoC) is a service option for a cellular phone network that enables subscribers to use their phones as walkie-talkies with unlimited range. Some systems use PTT ID to identify the speaker. In situations where a user may be too busy to handle a talk switch, voice operated switches are sometimes employed. This type of switch was historically called a pressel. Less commonly, a separate hand-held PTT switch may be used. For heavy radio users, a PTT foot switch may be used, and also can be combined with either a boom-mounted microphone or a headset with integrated microphone. The PTT switch is most commonly located on the radio's handheld microphone, or for small hand-held radios, directly on the radio. Citizens Band is another example of classic push-to-talk operation. Similar considerations apply to police radio, the use of business band radios on construction sites, and other scenarios requiring coordination of several parties. Unlike in a conference call, they do not hear background noise from the ones who are not speaking. In doing so, they are aware of each other's actions and intentions. Those under the same frequency can hear others' transmissions while using procedure words such as "break", "break break" to separate order during the conversation (ICAO doc 9432). Push-to-talk ( PTT), also known as press-to-transmit, is a method of having conversations or talking on half-duplex communication lines, including two-way radio, using a momentary button to switch from voice reception mode to transmit mode.ĬB radio with push-to-talk microphone switch History įor example, an air traffic controller usually supervises several aircraft and talks on one radio frequency to all of them.

The black of the 14/2 line wire will wire nut to the black of the 14/2 going to the first light switch.Light Fixture Power going out to Switch #1 The National Electrical Code requires a neutral at almost every switch. This j gives you 4 current carrying conductors along with a ground. In this scenario it will require you to run a NM 14/4 between the two switches. If your main power comes into the light fixture then from one switch to the next: Extra Wire - Extra wire is good for making pigtails.Wire Nuts - Wire nuts are used to tie wires together.Needle-nosed Pliers (Optional) - Needle-nosed pliers can be used to make the hooks on the end of wires.Electrical Tape - Electrical tape will be used to wrap the outlet around the termination screws as another layer of safety.Utility Knife - A utility knife will be used to remove the outer jacket to expose the individual wires.Wire Strippers - Wire strippers are used to strip the insulation off the individual wires.Screwdriver - A screwdriver will be used to make the wire terminations and install the cover of the outlet.Voltage Meter - A voltage meter allows you to verify the power is off.Read Also > How To Wire A 220-Volt Plug With 3 Wires? Supplies You'll Need To For 3-Way Switch Wiring For around the house projects it is good to have a few yellow and red wire nuts on hand. You need to have the correct size for the amount and gauge of wires that you will be using. The National Electrical Code requires devices to be wired so that if one has to be removed, it doesn't disrupt anymore down stream. This is a piece of wire about 6 inches long that will wire to the switch and then be tied in with other wires using a wire nut. When wiring up your switches you will need to create what is called a pigtail. A green screw - This is the ground screw, the bare copper ground wire will land here. Two lighter brass-colored screws - These are the traveler screws the traveler wires run in-between the two switches and MUST land on these screws.A dark colored screw - This is the common screw the wires carrying power to the switch or to a light get landed on this screw. Both ways are used frequently each creates unique ways on how the wires are run to the switches. One is by bringing the power into your switch box and the other is by having the power go to the light first. There is a couple of methods to get line power to your lights. NM 12/3 - 12 gauge wire with a yellow outer jacket enclosing 3 current carrying conductorsįor this guide we are going to assume you will be working with 14-gauge wire, though it is possible to have 12 gauge wire.NM 12/2 - 12 gauge wire with a yellow outer jacket enclosing 2 current carrying conductors and a ground.NM 14/3 - 14 gauge wire with a white outer jacket enclosing 3 current carrying conductors and a ground.NM 14/2 - 14 gauge wire with a white outer jacket enclosing 2 current carrying conductors and a ground. Most likely you will run into either 14 or 12 gauge wire, and 'in the trade' the cables are known as follows: NM comes in many different styles, but for this job you only need to be familiar with two of them: the 2-conductor and the 3-conductor. Homes are typically wired with NM cable this refers to the non-metallic outer jacket surrounding the individual wires. Electrical shocks can be very dangerous, and safety needs to be a priority! Most jurisdictions also require you to get an electrical permit to install new 3-way switch wiring, which will come with a small fee. It is very important that before beginning that you verify that there is no power on the wires you will be working with. When getting ready to wire, be sure you have the proper wire for your job! This allows you to control one or more lights from two different locations in your house. What You Need To Know When Wiring A Three Way Switch?Īnytime you use a 3-way switch, you will always have a pair of them. The Fusion rates will no longer be offered to new clients, but will continue to be valid for those who already have them. That means both new and existing customers will be able to hire you starting tomorrow, May 5through the usual channels of the operator (web, physical stores, telephone, etc.). MiMovistar is now official, but it will be at dawn from today to tomorrow when it appears on the operator’s website. In addition, using this term, they give the offer the same name as the app (Mi Movistar), which from now on will play a more important role as the ecosystem management center. With ‘miMovistar’ they play, on the one hand, with the Movistar brand, and on the other, with the prefix ‘mi’ (“for the client to make it his own”, they tell us). However, from the operator they assure that they never considered that name. In the weeks leading up to the release, there was speculation that Fusion’s surrogate portfolio It will be called Movistar Familia. The purpose of miMovistar is to once again simplify the offer and make it more flexible. More flexibility for the user: Movistar Fusión was born ten years ago to, according to the operator, simplify life for the user, but little by little it has become more complicated. TIPS to choose the BEST FIBER and MOBILE RATE Why the operator has decided to replace FusionĪs they tell us from Telefónica Spain, miMovistar was born as a response to the transformation of a market where the consumer increasingly demands greater customization. But like any great launch, many doubts arise next, we try to clear some of them. miMovistar goes one step further and directly intends to become an ecosystem. The company assures that this new portfolio “is the natural evolution of Movistar Fusión”, which paved the way for integrated offers with a single invoice. After a decade of Fusion, the operator has decided completely renew its convergent offer with miMovistar, a more flexible proposal where, from three connectivity rates, users can add television packages and different services such as health, gaming and security.
